2026 Update on Recording Visits
The Board would like to get better information about court usage than we have in the past. In a recent analysis of last year’s play, we found that fewer than half of those playing were signing in on the paper register in the shed/clubhouse. Please sign in ALL players, guests, and visitors to the Club including those in clinics and round robins.
We also wish to alert members who may play on an adjacent court when a member is using a basket of balls or ball machine. When making your reservation for this type of play, please note such on the calendar. If a lesson, note “LESSON,” and on the paper register record those taking the lesson and the instructor’s name.
Lastly, we may find it useful to know of attempts to play that have been thwarted by rain or softness of the court. If you take the time to go back to the calendar, rather than delete your reservation, simply note rain or soft court in the title line.

2026 Membership
Our continued monitoring of Club usage indicates we want to keep our membership numbers stable and capped at recent levels. We remain at a reasonable capacity to afford all members ease of reserving a court and a high quality experience. Membership is closed for 2026. Interested persons will be added to a wait list.
Some key points regarding 2026 membership and Club usage:
- We gave priority to past members and frequent guests.
- When we reached our membership goal, we began a wait list.
- Membership fees for 2026 are $200 per individual and $275 per household.
- There is a $25 late fee for memberships submitted after May 31.
- Guest fee has increased to $20 per visit. A guest may play at MRTC a maximum of three times.
If you wish to renew or join MRTC, please download, print, and fill out the 2026 MRTC membership application at your earliest convenience, add or update any information that has changed since last year, and mail printed forms with a check to the address at the top of the PDF. Please do not use prior year forms. Individual membership is $200 and household membership is $275.
If members refer prospective members, you are welcome to point them to this page. Please remember to share that we keep our website and our facility location low-key so as to limit exposure. If prospects have questions, please have them email Darlene (rather than calling, you have my email).
If you are wondering why we are not “electronic” yet, read here.
The Club has substantial expenses early in the season and appreciates your early renewal and being able to wrap up membership by mid-May.
New members will be added to the Google calendar within a few days or week of being received. Some Google calendar instructions that may be helpful are here. Please review the tips and instructions to avoid making mistakes, including the inadvertent removal of someone else’s reservation. Past members should still be able to access the calendar.
Members who do not renew are left on distributions in the event you renew again in the future (and for our ease of management). Let us know if you prefer to be removed from our lists.
The membership list is posted in the shed in early June. Members renewing later in the season will be added to membership list as time allows. You are welcome to add your name and contact info to the hardcopy posted in the shed.
Membership is not prorated. We feel we offer exceptional value and even late joiners can get their money’s worth as we stay open well into the Fall.
One aspect of our Club that we value and wish to maintain is the ease of making court reservations, so we approach growth cautiously and see how court usage plays out each year–thus the importance of signing in at the courts in addition to making your reservation.
Guests
- A guest may play at MRTC a maximum of three times with a member and paying the $20 per visit guest fee.
- Guests may be invited to round robins if members do not fill available spots (members have priority). Guests may play an unlimited number of times in Club round robin(s) paying the guest fee each time.
- Guests may not participate in clinics.
