Join us for a celebration of our great sport with an exhibition from the top four 5.0 women tennis players from Vermont. They will challenge each other in an exciting doubles match.

All MRTC members and guests are invited.

Join the third Club Triples of the season. This is a fun afternoon of competitive play with three people per team. This Triples events will be followed by a potluck at Peter and Lee Delfausse’s home on Common Road in Waitsfield. Plus ones are invited to the potluck social.

Please park at the Mad River Barn today not on the Pool Rd as previously instructed. Sorry for the short notice but just heard from the Barn that they will be taking wedding pictures on the Pool Rd today.

Map will be posted on shed as well.

Griffin & Griffin will be regrading and adding material to the road this Saturday. While not ideal, I’m sure everyone along with your cars are happy it is finally being done. Below are suggestions on parking on Saturday. There is a wedding event at the Mad River Barn on Saturday so please no parking there, but we have access to the Pool road for parking at the Barn.

• Look to carpool to the courts on Saturday.
• Park at the bottom of Old Mansfield Rd and walk to the club.
• The Pool road at the Barn is a first in last out parking situation. I’ll send specifics on where it is located before Saturday.

Below is info from the manager at the Barn for parking during work.

You are welcome to have a few players park here this week in the back lot, not a problem at all, we just ask that you leave the front spaces open for inn guests who are loading and unloading luggage. We also have a big wedding coming in Friday afternoon so space will be limited then through Sunday morning. It sounds like it should be wrapped up by then but also want to mention that we have a very important luxury auto event on Monday July 14th so there can be NO parking in any lots that day as they have rented the actual parking lots. If for some reason it extends into Monday please kindly have folks park on the pool road.  

Please consider carpooling this week.

Griffin & Griffin will begin staging materials for work on the entrance to the club this week. They will put materials on the left side in the field above the shed. Please refrain from parking there until work is complete. I hope to get notification when work will begin if I don’t…please find alternative parking at the base of Old Mansfield Rd or the Mad River Barn. Please do not interrupt the work in progress. It should be no more than a day or two for the work which has been needed for some time.
