Triples during the 2024 season
Triples during the 2024 season

2025 Activities

Round robins, triples, clinics, tournament, socials, and workdays will be posted here when more information is available.

Round Robins
Each of the round robins seeks eight players and utilizes both courts if enough people sign up.

  • Mens Round Robin, Tuesdays 4:00 – 6:00. Contact Geordie Hall for information and to be added to the Player Lineup reservation method.
  • Ladies Round Robin, Wednesdays 9:30 – 11:30. Contact Karen Winchell for information and to be added to the weekly email sign-up list.

Triples on last Fridays of the month 4:00-5:30
Lee will be organizing Triples (first come, first served, sign up with Lee, 802-793-1962) on June 27, July 25, August 29. There will be a potluck at a home TBD after each triples.

Team Match
The Burlington Tennis Club has offered to host a mixed MRTC team for 3.0+ players on August 10 from 2-4 pm. Just a chance for us to have fun, travel and play against another group. Sign up with Lee, 802-793-1962.

Exhibition
Lee has invited Jeannie Hulsen and women to do an exhibition in July (TBD) and Windridge Instructors for August (TBD).

Lee posted information about Monday clinics.

As always, we are aiming to have the Club open by Memorial weekend or earlier if weather permits.

2025 Membership

Membership applications this year include the requirement to sign a waiver. Please do not use prior year forms. Please download, print, and fill out the 2025 MRTC membership application and the 2025 MRTC membership waiver form at your earliest convenience, add or update any information that has changed since last year, and mail printed forms with a check to the address at the top of the PDF.

  1. If you are submitting a household membership, please write the name of both primary members on the waiver form and include two signatures.
  2. Individual membership remains $175 and household membership is now $250.

These same documents were sent to last year’s members by email last Wed 4/9/2025 4:35 PM. Invitations to prospective members have gone out. If members refer prospective members, you are welcome to point them to this page. Please remember to share that we keep our website and our facility location low-key so as to limit exposure. If prospects have questions, please have them email Darlene (rather than calling, you have my email).

If you are wondering why we are not “electronic” yet, read here.

The Club has substantial expenses early in the season and appreciates your early renewal. Additionally, I appreciate being able to wrap up membership by mid-May.

New members will be added to the Google calendar within a few days or week of being received. Some Google calendar instructions that may be helpful are here. Please review the tips and instructions to avoid making mistakes, including the inadvertent removal of someone else’s reservation. Past members should still be able to access the calendar.

Members who do not renew are left on distributions in the event you renew again in the future (and for our ease of management). Let us know if you prefer to be removed from our lists.

The membership list is posted in the shed just before Memorial weekend. Members joining later in the season will be added to membership list as time allows. You are welcome to add your name and contact info to the hardcopy posted in the shed.

Membership is not prorated. We feel we offer exceptional value and even late joiners can get their money’s worth as we stay open well into the Fall.

One aspect of our Club that we value and wish to maintain is the ease of making court reservations so we approach growth cautiously and see how court usage plays out each year–thus the importance of signing in at the courts in addition to making your reservation.
